i-Learn System Downtime on Thursday ( 4th May 2006)
Due to recent network downtime which had cause the i-Learn server to be inaccessible for 2 weeks. i-Learn centre have decided that it is time to move the server from its current location (iLQaM) to PSMB server farm. This should ensure higher availibility for i-Learn system.
Due to this migration, the system will experience downtime starting from tomorrow 12:00 pm. Hopefully the problem can be quickly solved and the system will be up in a short period of time.
Your patience regarding this matter is highly appreciated.
Regards,

i-Learn is BACK!
Frequent users will probably notice that they are unable to access the i-Learn server for quite some time now. The problem started on the eve of 18th May when consruction work in iLQaM, accidently hit one of the core fibre there. This causes network of at least 1/2 of the site in UiTM to become inaccessible.
Since i-Learn server is located at iLQaM, it affects availibility for the server too. Repairing work were soon carried to overcome the problem and on the 1st of May (today, 13 day after the network was brought down), we are able to access the i-Learn server again. Yuppie ... hopefully this will be the last of similar problem but i-Learn Center is now planning counter-measures in order to prevent similar cases from happening.
Related story about the network downtime can be read from here:

Students can now login to i-Learn! (Shah Alam Only)
The most asked question that we often get during i-Learn and e-Note training were
"When can student use the system?"
It is then with great pleasure to inform that as of today, 20th March 2006, students can officially login to i-Learn! Yeay!
In order to login, students must already have an account at iStudent portal . Students then use same username and password to login to i-Learn.
This means that lecturers need to upload notes to i-Learn for student to access! Yuppiee!
Please note that currently only students from Shah Alam can login to the system. We are currently working to allow students from other branches to login as well.
